2) Inspect and clean the thermocouple

6) Inspect door seal and relief flap seal
7) Test inlet (manifold) pressure reading, if necessary
8) Test outlet pressure reading, if necessary
9) Inspect air shutter opening
10) Properly position logs
11) Confirm spark gap from electrode tip to pilot burner is correct
12) Clean the burner
13) Clean the firebox
14) Clean the glass
15) Vacuum the appliance
16) Strategically place new embers on burner and logs
17) Confirm burner lights properly
18) Confirm that main burner is operating on HI
19) Inspect height of flame
20) Confirm pilot flame burns cleanly
21) Confirm pilot flame engulfs thermopile
22) Inspect wiring
23) Instruct homeowner on operational procedures for best performance
24) Advise homeowner of maintenance requirements
